Shield boosters are no longer considered safe child restraints.



The Dangers of Shield Boosters

A child less than 40 lbs. is best protected in a 5 pt. harnessed car seat.

If you have a shield booster and your child is 40 or more pounds REMOVE the shield and use the base as a belt positioning booster.
