Tubal & no period
Well aldies it had been 5 months since my tubes were tided and this month i have missd my period but not before now. My last was 7/31-8/3 and still now nothing. I have no insurance so the Dr is out of the question. Has anyone missed a month like this after tubal. Thanks.
I'm not sure maybe you could just call a doctor's office and ask them. A health department might also be able to help in answering that question as they do family planning services. I know my best friend after she got her's done was heavier but not sure she ever missed it completely. I'll have to ask her, hopefully someone here will be more help than I am.
I had my tubes tied but can't remember? What did the doctor say @ the time. I would also do a search on google (I'm always looking up something medical)
I had my tubal almost 4 years ago and never have missed my period. Actually mine is more regulated then it ever was, alot heavier...but always on time. I think a phone call to the doctors office who did the tubal would be a good idea. Good Luck.
I'd get a home pregnancy test just in case. Pregnancy is a possibility.
Trina don't say that because that has crossed my mind and god help me if I am.
watch for tubal preganacies. You will know from extreme pain. They say that that is a risk with tubals.
I would call your doctor or local women's clinic.
you might want to also check your health department they usually have a dr. and they also have a women clinic for your pap and breast Exams. I would check into that and also you might want to call your hospital and see if you have a free clinic in your area. We have one here that a Doctor donates his time and the medicine. Just a couple suggestions hopefully they might help. I also had a tubal but my periods are Never the same. so no help there but I hope all is good.
I had my tubes tied 3 years ago. I have never had regular periods but they were all light to medium flow and mild PMS. Since then I have missed several periods (never a positive pregnancy test) and I have a much tougher time with each period. More cramps, a much heavier flow, and more bloating, cravings, and breast tenderness. Amazingly enough, my emotions are more in check during that time now than they were when I was younger. Whenever I miss a period, I always take a pregnancy test, just to be on the safe side. HTH
I'd take a home pregnancy test first and then go from there.
I'd take a pregnancy test.
TONYA,by all means take a home preg.test.when my youngest daughter had her 2nd child, another boy,3 1/2 yrs ago,she also had a tubal.the Dr.told her to MAKE SURE that she didn't want another one, because there was NO way possible that his proceedure could be reversed.I think it consisted of cutting, tyeing and burning the tubes.So,9 months later she also missed her period.she didn't think much about it untill she missed her next period !7 months later she delivered my BEAUTIFUL red-headed grandaughter,Hannah Rose !!!!
