I'm so bored because DH is at work on a 24 hours duty 7 am this morning til 7 am tomoorow then he has to work his regular job until about 3 pm. I dont know what to do with myself. I bought him McDonalds earlier for lunch and for dinner im bringing him Italian pork chops and stuffing. I just want to hide there with him so I can be with him all night long.

So what are you ladies up to tonight?

Took Brad to Soccer practice, then went to 'Back to School Night' at his school. Came home, kids showered and just tucked them in a few minutes ago. This has been a long tiring day.

Checking email and then going to work on my Psychology homework for an hour after that lights out for me.

It's hard when dh is gone all night. Hope things get back to normal for you in the next day or two! ;)

I'm breathing a sigh of relief that I don't have to run around like a crazy woman getting my house ready for a live-in babysitter since we are no longer going to the wedding in AR.

I'm puttering around, reading, and about to clean up the kitchen and go to bed! Boys are asleep and DH is helping his assistant with a wedding video up at church.

I had a board meeting at church, now I'm going to vacuum and go to bed. Dh just left for some work related thing and won't be home until who knows when. Kids are still awake (in bed), but not for long.

Right now, just hanging out by the computer. Kids are home from school, DH is at work, and Jasmine was just playing with a toy in the family room. (She loves playing with her floating ring, even in the house. She swings it around like it's an animal! LOL! It's nice to have a self-entertaining animal!)

After supper, Emily and I have an orientation for the Confirmation program. Then just hanging out at home again.

Boxzgrl, I always lock my house up at night. It helps me feel more secure. I always lock when I take the kids to school. Sarah asked why, since DH was still home, but he is sleeping and not really keeping an eye on the place and the dog is usually in the car with us. I wouldn't want anybody just walking in while he is sleeping.

My girlfriend and I just walk into each other's houses, but she is busy getting her own kids to school and going to work, so she wouldn't be coming over anyway.

We are waiting for Hurricane Ivan to hit area some time tonight, early morning. It is pretty calm now and we still have electricity. We prepped for the worst. Now it's a wait and see game.
