Deep hip pain after c-section
I am having hip pain. I use to jog everyday and continued after my c-section (when doc. allowed of course). Then, the jogging had to stop, because at night, after my workout, I could hardly lift my right leg into the bed. Also, when I lay on my left side and then get up it hurts soooooo bad. I had someone tell my that that is common for those who have had c-sections. Any comments, ideas or help in this area. I am so sad that I can't jog anymore. I might add my C-secion was 8 months ago.
{{{HUGS}}} I hope you find relief soon. I've had two c-sections and no hip pain. Well, actually if I go hiking or do a lot of walking my hip joints are sore, but I first started experiencing that long before I had kids. Are you sure it's related to your c-section? That could be coincidental.
Not sure if it is related to my C-section. I was just wondering because I have had several people tell me it could be related to the surgery. Who knows. I am just really bummed. I am thinking a chiropractor may help.
I had a c-section and have never experienced hip pain. Now I have had shooting back pain because of the epideral, but no pain related to the c-section itself. I hope you find out soon what it is.
It sounds like you maybe need to see a doctor. I've had 2 c-sections, but don't recall having any hip pain.
Monica, I have had 3 c-sections and have never experienced hip pain. I would see your doctor. Debbie, like you some times I do get a a shooting pain in my back where I had my last epideral, or at least it seems there is where the pain is.
I have lower back problems since my c-sect. Not due to the actual c-sect-- due to weakened ab and back muscles. I *have* to work out or I will catch my back and be in bed for a couple of days. If I keep my muscles working down their I feel much better. Dont know if this would help you at all. I would certainly call my doctor and see what he thinks. I did experience hip pain after my 2nd ds was born vaginally. But it was caused by a pinched nerve, that like to have killed. ugh! So glad I am not having anymore children! LOL It was hard on this ol body.
Hi monica, I had a c-sect. 7 mo. ago, and recently experienced MAJOR, excruciating, lower back pain. My husband brought me to the ER, and, my pain turned out to be kidney stones!! I never have had them before, and my physician said it happens often after a c-section. It was awful. Worse than labor.8o( I would check w/ the ol'doc. (im sure its not kidney stones, but I would let doc know! Good Luck!
I've had 2 c-sections and never experienced any hip pain, I would get it checked just to be sure. Please let us know.
