I start at the end of the month. It's a three week/ 5 nights a week / Saturday course.

I've been a stay at home mom for 13 years. Now that kids are in school full time, I want a flexible career.

Wish me luck. I apprehensive and excited at the same time!

That's so exciting! Congratulations for taking that big step! Once you get there and realize you overcame your nerves, you'll be so proud of yourself! My Grandmother always told to me to do the things that are a little scary and not so comfortable, because it makes you a better person! You can do this!

BTW-I have an Aunt taking the course right now in Texas. My Uncle is now in real estate too in CA. He seems to love it!

I am in real estate (the mortgage aspect of it). Whatever you do, don't let the number crunching, etc. intimidate you! There's nothing to it I promise!! It all sinks in a you go "OOOOH".

It is a great and flexible career and you can make great money as well!

This is something I have been considering the past year of so. I sold our own house last year and had a lot of fun doing it.

And we've designed our new house so there is an office w/outside entrance in the basement so I could have my own home office to meet with people if I do this.

Since many colleges, schools and businesses are closed due to the storm, I'm not sure if I will start on Monday or not. Most phone lines are still down. I have been trying to call the office but keep getting a quick busy signal. I'll venture out tomorrow or Friday to the office and ask. Now that I am getting excited, I don't want a delay!
