Our Weekend - Much Needed!
I am posting because a few of you on my "Tiger" post had asked how my weekend went. So here goes...
My weekend was awesome, much needed let me tell you. We left Friday night and spent the night at my mom's, then we all got up Saturday morning and drove to Waveland, MS where we stayed with my grandmother. We spent all day on the beach - beautiful weather, I got a good tan - yay! The kids really did enjoy themselves. The baby even enjoyed the water and sand. He was crawling all over in the sand getting totally sandy - all in his face, ears, mouth - ugh! LOL He was loving it though. The two older boys spent all of their time out in the water with dh, and my brother and sister. I have plenty of pictures that I will try to post soon. Later that night, after the kids were asleep, Mike and I went *ALONE* to the beach. We spread out towels, laid down, and talked under the stars - it was really wonderful to be there alone without the kids as much as I love my boys. We discussed religion/spirituality, spurred by our just having watched The Passion of Christ an hour before. Anyway, it was a great time!
Then Sunday we all went to a "Funpark" similar to a school fair - lots of rides for the kids and even some for the adults. Mike and I got to ride several rides and just generally have a blast. My mom stayed with the baby while we went - I felt like a kid again. Thanks, Mom!!!  We all had a blast. Then that evening, we barbecued and then went back out to the beach and had some more fun.
Monday morning, my mom and I went to a shop near the beach and bought beautiful shells and shell creations (figurines made of shells). We left around lunchtime. Mike, I, and the dks had Shoney's, ordered dessert and enjoyed each others company. Then we hit some outlet stores and got a little bit of Christmas shopping done. Got home late that night and I unpacked and hit the hay! I was exhausted. It was a beautiful weekend - full of family and fun in the sun!!!! Much needed!

Amy, your mom and I talked for an hour yesterday and she raved and raved about what a wonderful time you all had. I can't wait to see pics!!!!
