Need a gift idea
My son's last session with his speech therapist is on Tuesday. I wanted to get her a little something as a thank you for all her help. Any suggestions? TIA
Candy, Candle, Fruit Basket. There are some places that can arrange a really nice fruit basket including candy and things.
A gift certificate at a nearby restaurant.
As a speech therapist, gift certificates, candles/bath stuff, etc. are always nice, but the thing I treasure most is a handwritten card. If you can express to her in words the difference she has made in your son's life...I promise she will treasure it always and it will keep her going on the bad days.
I agree with Pam. I still have notes parents wrote to me 20 years ago because they were so touching. Maybe a nice pic of your little guy with it. Adding something else would be nice, but the words will mean the most.
A card. Also, last year when my kids finished a class their teacher had done a particularly good job so I bought her a $25 gift certificate to our local manicurist. She went in and got a manicure and a softening treatment for her hands. She said it was one of the nicest gifts she ever got! AJ
