I got a kindergarten job! It's not the one I posted about in the post "The Perfect Job". This is close to the perfect job but not quite. I will have to drive 35 minutes each way every day as it is a half-day program. I'll be done at the end of June. My son will be able to start kindergarten too! In our district (where we live) the cut-off is September 1 but in the district where I'll be teaching it is December 31. I'm expecting to put him in for two years. Since it's only mornings this year I figure it's actually not that much different than most playschools. He will be in the other kindgarten class.

Next year, he will attend kindergarten where we live. It will be full days-2 days week 1, 3 days week 2.

I'm excited but nervous. I have until Tuesday to turn a music room into a kindergarten room with little to no supplies!
