It's been a long summer but
As some of you know, dh has been off since the last part of May. He was bedridden at one point, and hasn't driven in almost 4 months. Well 3 children and dh at home all summer has stressed me out. Dr. visits and physical therapy have drained me. Dh started back to work 2 weeks ago. However,I have had to drive him to work (his work place is 50 minutes from our house) Round trip is a good one hour and 40 minutes. I'm on the road almost 4 hours a day. STARTING Tuesday, dh will be driving himself to work and the kids will be back in school. I can finally get back into a normal routine, yes, I am doing a happy dance
Wow!!! You won't know what to do with yourself!!! So happy that your life is getting back to "normal" if any of our lives can ever be called that! hehe! Good luck to your dh and I hope your kids enjoy school! Mine have been back to school since Aug. 12! We are well into a routine by now!
Great news Marg...you have been stressed for a while now. Its time to de-stress yourself... You will just have Alyssa home with you now?? Enjoy Tuesday...you won't know what to do. Thinking of ya
I hope that God is blessing you well with all your patience. Enjoy the less stressed filled days and find something special to do for yourself on your first day off
Thanks ladies Alyssa is still home with me, but she's nothing of a challenge like dh. Talk about mood swings, lol! I was gonna post that I really miss mom, just talking to her would've helped. Some good things have come out of this summer. Dh's spiritual walk has become a lot closer, my trust in the Lord is a lot greater and dh realizes what I do in a days time and why the house isn't spotless.
Hooray!! I'd say that's cause for celebration! I am glad some good came out of his bedridden time, but boy, that really must have made for a very long summer!
