The perfect job
The perfect teaching job has just come up for me. It's an ECS (Kindergarten) position. Here, kindergarten is only part-time so this position would be full days Tuesday and Thursday from now until the middle of April. After that, it is three days per week. It is about a 25 minute commute so I would only have to drive two days during the winter months. If I get it, there is a possibility that I could take my son with me to be in my class so there would be no childcare. DD would be in after school care only and that would only be til March because by then DH's office will be moved and he would not have to commute so he could drop her off. She would still have to go somewhere for about 45 minutes after school. This is so perfect. Almost too perfect. I'm so worried I won't get it. I have taught grade one for 8 years, one of which was a kindergarten/grade one split class. I'm hoping they think I have enough experience to teach kindergarten. It would be so much fun. I already have so many ideas. I'm worried that I'm getting my hopes up though and will be crushed. The job was just posted yesterday. It closes on the 10th of September. I'm going to drive there this afternoon and hand deliver my application. Please, please, please send as many positive vibes and prayers my way as you can. TIA
