Getting back to "normal" (long )
Well ladies....it's been a LONG summer...
After getting out of the hospital the end of July, I had my boys down for 2 weeks (8 kids in the house, plus whatever friends happen to be over) I took them home last Tuesday  (I pick them up again this Friday ) The girls went back to school last Thursday (yea!!!!) I went back to work last Monday (boo!!! ) and things are slowly starting to work themselves back into the routine I was so familiar with before school let out last June!!! I soooooooo missed MY time!! I'm usually alone in the morning after they get on the bus and it's quiet and I love it!!!
Had a wonderful visit with the boys. I hadn't seen them in almost 3 months. (Who lets them grow like that when you aren't around??) 3 out of 4 of them are just about my heighth now (I'm 5'11") That was enough to freak me out!!!! I have always been the tallest one most places I go!
My baby girl started 1st grade this year and my oldest step daughter started her senior year....the 8th grader is playing football and the 7th grader is cheerleading. Everybody seems happy...that won't last!! But it certainly is NICE for now!!!
Sounds like everything is going well! Great to hear BTW, I have 3 small boys - I can't wait to see what it is going to be like once they are all grown. Talk about serious loads of laundry and piles of dishes - and GROCERY bills! Ahhhhh! How do you do it?!?!
And I definitely know what you mean about the short period of time when you are alone and its quiet - that is heaven!
