Robin and some friends of his brought home about two dozen tadpoles today. For now they're in an old ice cream pail (5 qt). I'd like to see if his teacher would like them in HER classroom instead of MY house! lol Anyway, I guess we'll have to get a cheap, plastic tank with a lid to keep them in for now (the ones that survive anyway) and find some tadpole food. I do have fish food. Anyone every raise some of these critters??? I really don't want these things (can you tell I'm not nearly as excited as the kids???). Oh well. Just more of the joys...

I bought tadpoles for my pond like 7 of them. I gave them fish food like I did with my fish. But 1 thing I can say if you put them in a pond watch for your fish, my pond is a 100 gallon pond and I bought 6 fish this year and 4 of them he ate. I had 1 that lived and he was real big I got them when they were tadpoles. HINT HINT I won't get anymore
