Need Letter "A" show and tell ideas ASAP!!!
Kindergartner son needs to take show and tell tomorrow that begins with the letter "A". All we can come up with are the words acorn(can't find any...) apple, animal... If all else fails, he can take some sort of "animal" something... Any ideas???
I have to say I *HATED* this activity (as a parent). My first son had to do it at 2 1/2. I personally used to just look in his toy bin and pick out something that started with the letter. Good luck.
Apple, Acorn, Airplane, Art, Apron, Automobile, Animal Crackers. That is hard to do.
Well you could take some ADVIL & let him be ABSENT because you AGONIZED over what he should take. LOL What about an airplane, an ace card, he could show everyone where their adam's apple is, a map of America, an atlas ,if you have a Christmas tree angel, an apron, a crayon of the color azure, or an avocado
ROFL...I vote for Emily's idea!
It's OK to get ideas from a dictionary. aardvark abacus accordion Adam's Apple (An easy one to bring to school!) adult alien (perhaps a toy from Monsters Inc.?)
Do you have an Alien doll? Alligator Abraham Lincolon (Picture) Acorn Astronaught (Picture or doll) Airplane That's all I can think of. HTH
Alf(Just found my Alf doll lol) Alfalfa sprouts Apricot Acrobat He could teach Aerobics? lol
Animals is a great one!
My daughter had to do this when she was 4-5, in preschool. On the "Q" day, I didn't think she had brought something for "show and tell". When I picked her up, I said, too bad you didn't have anything. She looks up at me and shows me the duck fabric easter basket she had brought. I said duck doesn't start with Q. She said, "Quack!" Talk about a dumb mommy moment! Good grief! She had it all figured out!
Wow! Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I can't believe I didn't even think of "airplane" because he has always been crazy over planes! Well, my sister, who moved here recently from FL remembered that she had sent the kids a real alligator's foot. So she mentioned that, and thankfully, my dd remembered where hers was. Ewwwwww!!! but the kids should think it's cool! So we got that one worked out! Yippee!!!!! Though, I really liked the Advil one! hehe! And I actually did think of Alf right away!!! LOL!
