How many tvs are in your house?
I feel ridiculous when I ask this, lol! We have one in the living room, one in our bedroom, when mom was living with us I purchased one for her bedroom and at the same time Cara was living with us and purchased another (the small tvs with vcr built in) for the office where she slept. It worked at the time, but now it seems like so many, lol! Our oldest dd moved into the room where mom stayed so she has a tv and the one is still in the office.
Let's put it this way....There is one in every room, but the bathrooms. (All 4 bedrooms, kitchen, LR, family room, basement, kitchen) *blushing*
LOL Eve, I was just curious *blushing* also, I would love one for the kitchen!
6. Yeah I would love one in the laundry room. LOL.
Yikes, we only have 3 people in the house with 5 tv's....
Ok, 8 total, plus, one for the car. LOL! We're not pathetic or anything! ROFL.
We have 2 in our house!! One in the family room and one in our bedroom. We do have a little TV with a vcr built in that is sitting in the basement. We are thinking of getting the boys a Gamecube for Christmas. If we do, then we will set it up in their playroom for the Gamecube. It will not have cable or anything hooked up, it will just be for them to play their games on. Now, we do have one in our van. Boy, has it been a lifesaver on long trips.
We're not doing too badly. We have one for each floor of the house, so that makes three.
Ditto Debbie...we have two (family room and our bedroom) plus one in the car. (That one's really just for DVD's.) But, we're getting DS an Xbox for Christmas, so we'll probably add one to their playroom.
We have three. Family room, master bedroom and guest room.
Ditto Melanie. We have three. Family room, master bedroom and guest room. The one in the family room is the only one hooked up to cable. The others are used only to watch videos.
We have two. Family room and our room.
we have one in the play room for cartoons Thats all. I could not have one in our bedroom. That would seem weird. When do you talk or sleep. I wouldn't be able to sleep or would go to sleep much later than I should
we have one in the living room, another in ds's room and a very small t.v. with vcr in younger ds's room.
We have 2 tvs, one downstairs in the family room and one up in our bedroom. They are both hooked up to cable, but we have the cheapest plan (no weather channel or Trading Spaces :P ). The one in the basement is the only hooked up to a vcr and a dvd player. The one in the bedroom is just for watching regular tv. We also don't have any kind of game system. Younger daughter would love a gaming system. Older daughter doesn't care.
we have four. One in the living room, one each of the girls rooms and one in the basement which really belongs in my bedroom but, we moved it down there for when he has guys over to play pool and it has just stayed there.I have my computer in my room so I would really like to have a tv in there also.
WE have one in the family room, our bedroom and the upstairs playroom, all hooked into cable. We also have one unplugged in my sons room, which becomes the guest room and then gets plugged in. And I have a small (8 inches maybe) black and white one on my craft desk, it is a radio also, so I can listen to music or watch soaps, it doesn't get cable, but I can pick up nbc.
We have 3 plus one for the car (on trips). Living room, kids playroom and our bedroom. Not too bad. I am asking for one of the under the counter ones for Christmas! Fingers crossed!
2 living room & our bedroom.
We have 1, just the living room. Now *I'm* blushing!!
We added a second TV just this past year, so we have one in the family room and one in the study. No TVs will ever be allowed in the kids's rooms and we read a book before we got married that suggested no TVs in the MBR. It said the MBR should be used for 2 things only....1 on which is sleeping *eg* and we agree. Both TVs have only basic cable, so we only get the networks and a few extra channels. I think about 12 channels total. We made the cut from expanded cable a few months ago when I realized how much we were spending on it. Yikes!
Two tvs, one in the family room, one in the study. Neither one have cable.
3 t.v's One in family room, one ancient console (i think that is what they are called).t.v. that was my grandma's in the living room, and one small t.v/vcr combo in the basement.
Just one tv in the family room. At this point we watch tv together in the evenings.
We have three one in the family room, our room and the boys room (even though they never have it on in there lol)
I would not get anything done if we had televisions all over let alone cable. We are just not disciplined enough. Besides ourk ids will learn enough things we don't want them too we don't need hollywoods help.
We have five. One on our sunporch, which we move to the library in the winter, one in my bedroom one in DH's bedroom, a small one in the guestroom, and one in our office.
1 Big screen in living room 3 tvs in bedrooms so total of 4. Kids have their own tvs but are limited to use. Any abuse and tv gets removed (so far only had to do that once). I grew up with one tv in house. It is amazing how different it is now days. Yvonne
5 - but only 4 are connected. The *old* one (5th) one is sitting in my *junk* room, which I hope to make an exercise room out of, and will add a DVD player in there to play Pilates tapes, etc. The TV in Jen's room has not been used in a year since she moved in with her Dad.
We have one in the kitchen, one in each of the boys room, and a Big screen in the basement/den/playroom. The one downstairs has all the cable channels you can get (around 400-digital cable) the other ones have regular cable-around 80 channels.
We have one in the living room, one in the den, and one in each bedroom. We also have a little 13" with a built in VCR for the car when we travel (it's in a closet). So that makes five in the house. The boys tv's are hooked up to cable and they each have a VCR and a DVD player, but they really only watch them about a half hour a day, if that. Ours and both the living room and den have cable and dish. Dh is a tv junkie.
We have 5, 1 family room, 1 built into our kitchen wall, 1 each in our DS's bedroom and one in our bedroom. Regular cable hooked up to each one.
2 TV's. A big one in the living room and a smaller one in the exercise room.
We currently have 5 living room ds's room dd's room my dad's room and our room. When my dad gets on his feet and gets his own place he will take one with him.
We have three.
We have 2, one in the living room, and one in our bedroom. The one in our bedroom rarely even gets used (unless one of us is sick or something) so I'm not sure why we even have it!
We have three. One in the master bedroom, one in the living room, one in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen gets used the most .
One in master bedroom, one in living room, one in middle childs room, ( for playstation) , and one in the den, but that one is not used right now. We also have two more tv's which are just hanging around, which we are taking to the salvation army.
2 - family room and den.
3 - family room upstairs, master bedroom, family room downstairs
We have only 2. One in our room and one in the family room. Ds would love to have one in the car. He loved watching Finding Nemo in his grandpa's car.
3 - living room, computer room and Emily's room 1 in the van
7- if you count the tv card my dh has on his computer in the office. lol I have never counted before. I am almost embarrassed.
Conni-Don't feel bad! Just say "Well, Eve has more!" LOL! I also have TWO Tivo's! LOL! Although, I do have to laugh, because it must sound like we watch a lot of tv. Yesterday I watched a total of 1 hour of tv, and it was something I taped. LOL!
We own three tvs. One in the upstairs family room and one in the master bedroom. Then we have one in the 5th wheel. We are talking about putting on in the truck for the kids to watch when we are pulling the camper on long trips.
One 13 inch with rabbit ears (no cable, 3 channels on a clear night).
LOL Irene. You actually have to get up to change the channels too, don't you?
We used to have a remote, but it broke.
Definately TV people here. We have a total of 5. One is in the kitchen. Let's just say that when my soap opera is on and I have to do things, I can go from one room to another and not miss any scenes on my soap. Even when I'm not watching TV, at least one usually is on for background noise.
We only have one. I'm so embarrassed! I won't allow our dks to have one in their rooms until Jr. High, at least. Dh and I don't have one in our room because I'd only see him as he came out for food! We just bought our beautiful 32" flat screen but we gave our last two to friends that needed them more. I guess I would get one for the kitchen, if I really had to get another one but, at this point, I don't see why.
We have 7. Each bedroom has one (ds only for Game Cube). 4 have Direct TV and two have TIVO.
We have one in our family room and one in our bedroom. Our kitchen, dining room and family room is one large open area (the bar separates the room) So, we can watch the tv from any of those areas. I won't let my kids have one in their room. I won't put one in the formal living room. So, just 2 for us.
We had 1 in the family room for awhile, then added the one in our bedroom about 5 years ago and a year ago I got *MY* TV (ie no kids shows allowed!) for the kitchen. I LOVE that one- it's little! That's it for us- we're done (at least until one breaks!).
We have 6. There are 4 of us. I don't even really watch a lot of tv myself. We have a 65", my son has a 60" in his room. the old tv thats like 18 years old and won't die is in the sun room, no cable though. My daughter has a small one in her room, one in my bedroom, one in playroom. When we go on vacation we have to make sure we have at least 2 tv's, 3 is even better. I think their addicted to it!
Eve, we have two Replays (same as Tivo). Don't feel bad! I record kids shows on one and dh records stuff on the other. Our poor VCR's are collecting dust! lol
We have one. One too many! LOL
We have 3. Livingroom, our room and Timmys room has a TV/VCR combo that only works for videos. He like to have them on when he is playing very rarely will you see him just atching Tv and not playing too. For Jades 2nd Christmas she will get a TV/VCR combo for her room too for the same purpose. Our room has cable and so does the livingroom. Timmy's room has no hook up for it but Jades does it was there when we bought the house but she will not be hooked up until they both can be and that will be a few more yrs.
Tink--please don't be embarassed! I am with you all the way!
We have one t.v. in the living room, one in our bedroom, and one in my sons room for Gamecube and dvd's. I am still debating about Tivo, lol! I am much more attached to the computer than any t.v. we own, though!
0 (zero) We just got rid of our television. If we want to watch a movie we watch it on the computer. We only have DVD's so that is not a problem, but usually we just read books and magazines. There are interesting things to watch on t.v., but not enough, so we gave it up. When we get a bigger house we will have a movie room though and have a plasma t.v. in there to watch only our movies on.
