Halloween Costume
I know that I have a while, but I already have Rylee's costume. It used to be my cousins. Rylee is going to be Tinker Bell this year. Her first Halloween. Anyways, now to my question...Part of the costume is like a netting/mesh material. It is all bunched up and won't lay straight. Is there anyway that I can get it to look flat? Particularly the wings.
Try putting the costume under a towel and ironing with a warm iron. I was thinking about Halloween yesterday!
That's so funny I thought I was the only one thinking about Halloween this early!..lol Yes I think that putting a towel down and ironing it would work also. That's what I was thinking, anyway. I always buy my girls costumes at Old Navy, last year Hailey was a lamb (she was 4 months old), it was adorable. This year I think I am going to do Aristocats so they will coordinate or something like that. How exciting...lol
Downey Wrinkle Releaser works on many different types of fabric. You might give it a try. My daughter was Tinker Bell when she was two!
I have been thinking about Halloween too! I think the towel and iron would work too.
Candis, I just gave away my dd's white Marie Aristocat costume. Ah, I wish I would have known. DD wore the costume ONE time for about an hour. My 13 year old dd and her friends want to go as the girl group from Grease. They've been talking about it for weeks.
The Disney Store has had their costumes out for weeks already! Of course my youngest daughter has been talking about Halloween since last Halloween-LOL. She wants to be Cinderella (her sister was Belle last year). My oldest DD can't make up her mind. She has chosen to be just about every Disney Princess as well as a witch and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I am making their costumes, so she still has a little bit of time to decide.
