Baby gift help
My neighbor just had a baby girl on Saturday. I need some ideas for a unique gift. I also need ideas for a little gift for her 2 1/2 yr old son who is not to pleased that he has a new sister. Any ideas? They are relatively new to our neighborhood and I'd like to get to know her better.
My favorite baby gift is to fill a basket with lots of practical baby items: onesies, diapers, wipes, Desitin, gas drops, infant Tylenol, Totally Toddler, teethers, infant nail clippers, baby shampoo, baby toys, etc.. For the 2.5 yr. old I'd get a few books. Eric Carle comes to mind. Another idea is one of those Big Brother t-shirts. Or how about a book about becoming a big brother? DS got this one when DD was born. Very cute. I'm a Big Brother by Joanna Cole
Ditto Trina!!
thanks for the ideas!
A gift certificate to a photo place might be nice, with a frame for when they have the photo done.
What is totally toddler? I am going out today - finally - to finish up the gift for the parents, the baby and of course the little boy. What would be a good gift, that would keep the little boy entertained if the mom needed some down time? also, any meal ideas that I can send over? I can only think of chicken pie or lasagna.
For the toddler those color wonder markers were a great thing in my house, also videos!
Totally Toddler I second the videos. Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob The Builder, etc.. Meals: Tuna Casserole, American Chop Suey (noodles, hamburg, spaghetti sauce),...
LOL, here's an idea! Looks easy enough to make. Diaper Cake
That's a really cute cake Trina, and it doesn't look hard to make.
