Anniversary gift
Okay, I am really stressing here. My parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in addition to both their birthdays (yes, they have the same birthdays and got married on their birthdays) this Sunday. We live 1000 miles apart and they are coming here Friday for a visit. We didn't plan a big party as all of our relatives are scattered all over the place and my brother is getting married in a few weeks so we couldn't ask people to travel twice. I am at a complete loss as to what to get them. They don't travel much and when they do it is always by car. They live in south Jersey so I've contemplated a weekend at a B&B in Cape May. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Has anyone stayed at a B&B there and can recommned one? We just got back from vacation this past weekend and I probably should have planned better and got something sooner but we were dealing with a sick cat. My only brother is on business in Italy and I can't reach him to see if he wants to go in on anything with me. So, I am hoping someone can offer some ideas that I haven't already thought of. Like most parents, they have everything they need and are always so difficult to buy for. Thanks for your help!
I love B&B's.
That is what we did for dh's parents anniversary! We got them a weekend away at a Bed and Breakfast. They will be driving there and they loved the idea!! We also got them a gas card to help pay for the gas for their trip!! So, needless to say, I think it is a great idea!!
It sounds like a great idea to me.
Fro my inlaws we do scrapbooks for everything. So could you throw together a photo album also? I like tangible things, but think vacations are very nice too.
