My DH has been asleep since 2:00 pm this afternoon. I just woke him (8:45 pm here) and he said he justed wanted to sleep thru 'til morning--LOL. He just got back from taking 60 kids on a mission trip to KY. He had to drive a van (13 hrs each way) then they were up until 11 pm each night and up for work at 6am. He was in charge of teaching a crew of teens how to roof condemned housing, so he was on a roof in blistering heat working like a dog all day for a week. And dealing with teenaged angst and drama on top of that. He's pooped!! It's funny---the older he gets the longer it takes him to recuperate from trips like this. He has 2 weeks to recover, while still working, then he takes a group to Nicaragua. THEN....hurray! Summer busy-ness is over for him and he's back at home

Wow, what a great guy! He is setting such a great example for the kids! Of course, I hope he will still be up to this kind of thing when they get older and can really participate.

He will definitely need some TLC for the next couple of weeks. I know you will take good care of him.

I'm sure I'm quite a bit younger than your dh and I would be exhausted after doing this! I don't think I'll ever do well dealing with teenage angst and drama! Take care of that poor guy, he's doing great work and every good man needs a good woman!
