Right now I need to stay anon...sorry! Have any of you (personally, not a friend, aunt, cousin's neighbor) had a regular period but then found out you were pregnant? Not just spots, but a normal looking period. I've been nauseous for almost a month now...I've been pregnant before and the feeling kinda fits, but I had a period and figured it had to be something else. It's most likely some other reason, but I'm just curious.

yes i had my period for 3 months with my first dd, i was almost 5 months before i even knew i was pregnant. With my ds i had it for 2 months and the weirdest thing is that now i HAVEN'T had it since august at all and i am now 13 weeks pregnant! I have a strange body i guess, lol! It is not frequent that it occurs but very possible! And you need to get a blodd test to be sure...my pregnancy tests all came back negative.

Oh yeah.
Pregnancy is the only time I have a normal period. If you are pregnant you mey want to ask about progesteron(sp) levels.

Yep, I was 12 wks pregnant when I found out I was pregnant the first time. I thought it had just occured (conception that is) but was shocked to hear I was already heading into my second trimester. And relieved too! LOL, it was great not worrying those first weeks.

I'm 8 wks now, but I have had a few people say I look much further. I had a very heavy period in May and would be shocked if I got pregnant before that, but I do know it happened to me before. I won't know for sure until sometime after July 20th when my insurance goes into effect.

I had a period with the girls. I too was five months pregnant before I found out I was PG. The only reason why I had the pregnancy test was because everyone kept telling me I looked pregnant. Which I thought I was just putting on weight. HMMM... Anyway, I took a test and sure enough I was PG. Called the OB went in and he measured me and was like you are more than just pregnant. I am like how much more and he was like I am figuring about 5 months. I about passed out. Then... the heart beat..... One over here... And sure enough one over there. What???? He sends me for an ultra sound and OH MY GOSH the baby had two heads.. LOL One over here one over there. I started bawling my head off as soon as I saw that yes.. There was not only a baby but two.... And the kicker.. My DH had had the big V. So I was one huge mess. And telling everyone brought about a whole mess load of laughter and jokes about if it could happen to anyone it would happen to me. So can it happen. Yes it sure can and another lesson learned the big V doesn't always stop it from happening. LOL Oh and I had the girls a month and a half early. So I had the quickest pregnancy of anyone I have ever personally met. I found out and had them so quick I had no time to really adjust to the idea.

If you aren't PG you need to find out what is going on. I suggest you take a test and find out one way or the other. If you do a urine test and it is negative but you still have the symptoms I would ask them to do a blood just to double check.
