Fire swallowing!!! This is so not me but a friend of a friend does it at Rennaissance(sp?) Fairs and said it was really easy. She showed me a few other tricks first and, once I got my courage up, I tried it! It really isn't that hard and she said the worst she's ever been burned was less than when she's bit into a hot piece of pizza. I haven't even told my dh yet but he is going to be SO surprised. I never do anything like this! My dks were very impressed. Next I want to learn to breathe fire! That would be even more impressive!

Very cool, Cori!!! I would love to learn to breath fire, but I *think* it involves holding high-proof alcohol in your mouth and I hate the taste!!! How do you swallow fire? I'm not sure I've ever seen that!!

It was really neat and not very hard. It's technical name is "oral flame extinguishing." It took me a while to get up the courage but I thought it would be something that would really impress people that know me. You just guide the torch in with your tongue (it's too wet to burn easily) and close your teeth around it. Then you exhale really hard and it goes out. DON"T inhale!!! For obvious reasons. It was pretty neat. I doubt I will learn to breathe it but I would have the guts to do it if I had the chance. Just a fun story to tell now.
