Help! To much Chocolate!
I mentioned to my dh that I wanted a little chocolate, he brought home 2 large bags of M & M's, Little Debbie brownies, 4 large Cruch bars, & a 1/2 sheet chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I just wanted something to curb the craving, now I can't walk into my kitchen! I know he meant well...but I could shoot him!!! Trina can I send you some?
WOW! What a husband! You can send some my way.
Oh man, that's definitely A LOT of chocolate! Is he going to help you eat it?! LOL! I'm over my chocolate hump now. Phew! About a week or 2 before my period I get serious cravings.
You can send me some too!!!!
You made me jealous last night. I told my husband about this and he of course was making jokes as to why your dh brought you all of this chocolate. I won't post his jokes here. I am going to have to go out and buy me ingredients to make a chocolate cake because now I am craving some.
Sorry April! I am sure I can guess what your dh was thinking! I have done very good. I made dh take the crunch bars, filled my nephews up with cake before their Mom picked them up, & haven't touched the M&M's.
mmmmm.....send it my way!
I'LL TAKE SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When i read the name of this topic i thought to myself "there is no such thing as too much chocolate", but i was wrong! That is way too much. But what a sweetheart for going and getting you your chocolate! He probably wasn't sure what kind of chocolate you were craving, so he got every kind Send some of it my way!
Bellajoe, I had the same reaction, both before and after opening this thread. Emily, I see you are young (believe me, my dear, 30 is young). One of the things I learned after many years of living with both the man I was married to and the men I have raised is that you cannot be too specific when you say something like "gee, I'd love to have some chocolate". If you had said, for example, "gee, I'd love to have a couple of small bags of M&M's, or a quarter pound of chocolate covered cherries", that's probably what you'd have gotten. But just to say chocolate. On the other hand, I give him credit for trying to give you what you said you wanted. Not every dh would have (a) heard and (b) acted on what his dw said. (It just occurred to me, we almost never see "dw" on the board. Gee, I wonder why .....)
