Yikes! Got to go to the Dermatologist.
Funny little suspicious things on my back. One looks like a small skin tag. The other looks like maybe alittle precancerous thingy. All that evil sun bathing in my youth! Anyway, everyone check you back! Why I even looked at my back I don't know!
Oh no, I hope it isn't anything bad. One of my good friends use to lay in the tanning bed every summer and then about 2 years ago had a funny spot on her upper arm. It turned out to be precancerous cells, and so one the doctor removed it she will not lay in tanning beds and wears sunscreen in the sun. Let us know after you go to the doctor.
Get it checked out...my dad had a spot on his ear for a long time and kept putting it off going to the dr. when he finally did it was skin cancer and had to have part of his ear lobe removed. He spent many days on the golf course in the sun with no hat, and I think thats what happened. Good Luck.
Definitely get it checked out, Feona!
I have had 2 tumors removed and I never sunbathed. Just a genetic thing. My mom and both my grandparents have had tumors removed. Don't put it off. It's much worse once it goes from pre- to the real thing. Backs and tops of the head are the worst cuz no one checks them and they get lots of sun. Backs of hands get more sun than anyone realizes, too.
I would also get it checked out. My FIL had to have a portion of his nose removed 2 years ago.
Good for you for going to get it checked out. I go once a year for a body check. AND ladies, tanning doesn't make you look beautiful!!
I'm glad you noticed it and can get it checked out early. Let us know what you find out. I admit, I'm a fan of tanning, but have not done it in a long time since I have the kids. I know it's bad... I do like sunless though!!!
So I have a strange question. I've noticed two strange spots down *there*. they are darker in pigmented color and pretty much round in shape. they do not hurt and are not raised or anything. but they have freaked me out. should i get them checked out? i've never noticed them before but i am only 24 years old and that area has hardly ever seen the light of day! any suggestions?
