I'm not sure how many moms we have on here that are in the Chicago area but they are having some free days in 2008 and many of them are in January. This place is awesome for kids of any age.

This place IS absolutely awesome, and lots of fun. My brother and I used to bike over at least 6 - 8 times every summer for many years. I still remember the coal mine experience and the wonderful model train setup. My mom bought a book there, "Being Born" as the first book for me to read about sex and I still remember the pictures.

I love it! I don't live in Chicago, but I have family there, and went there as a child. It totally changed my view of museums, which at that time I though were very boring!
