I just thought I would update again.. Im currently 28 1/2 weeks pregnant.I feel pretty good most of the time. My biggest complaint is the heartburn/acid reflux, and the getting up to go to the bathroom 4-6 times a night..
I start going to my appointments every 2 weeks now. I cant believe Ive made it this far.
I feel movement all day long, but I still listen to her heartbeat with my doppler twice a day. Although I feel movement, the heartbeat is very reassuring to me.'
On Fridays appointment, I talked to my dr about me wanting to be induced. First because my daughter was born 1 1/2 hrs after getting to the hospital(I was only 3cm when I got there)., I also talked about the emotional reasons why I wanted to be induced, THat after losing 4 pregnancies in a row, I rather have it sooner then later. She is fine with all that, and ok'd me to be induced. We didnt set a date for it, she said she usually does it at 39 weeks. But at 36 weeks, she will start checking internally and go from there..
Also I think she was fine with it because Im on Heparin(Which is a bloodthinner)and you have to be off it for 12 hrs before delivery..can cause serious bleeding..
Im still to remain on light duty(Pelvic rest as they call it)which means no sex(Im ok with that LOL )and no extra exercise. She said everyday activity is fine, but no walking for exercise and no Jazzercise ....She said between 32-34 weeks if all is going smoothly I can resume my activities.
She is just worried about preterm labor. Though both my kids were fullterm babies, and I have no history of preterm labors,she is being cautious.
Sometimes though, I do sneak in walks around the neighborhood at night with the dogs...
Right now my duedate is Aug 22, and hopefully this baby will be before a week before that..
