The local police are stopping cars and handing out reminders to buckle up and drive safely, especially with the holiday coming up. They will also be setting up sobriety checkpoints, I'm sure, so no drinking and driving! Be safe this weekend.

I am a legal secretary and we do mostly personal injury cases. You can always tell whether or not someone was buckled up by the severity of the injuries. People who get thrown around inside the car or even out of the car always have much more severe injuries than people who are buckled up.

I just found out that my son, who weighs about 50 pounds, should be in a booster seat until he weighs 80 pounds. Any one else know that?
