Looking for romantic and fun ideas
I try to think up really romantic and fun things for all the "occasions" in our life. While my husband is not overly romantic, I find that when I make the effort he tends to try harder. A few things I have done in the past: His birthday he came home to find a trail of rose petals leading him to a tape player with a mission impossible message leading him (with clues) to locate me at a romantic restaraunt that I was there dressed to kill waiting for him. I included the restaurant in my plans and they even printed a special menu for him that had I love you on it from me. On Valentine's day he came home to find our porch turned into a rain forest complete with lots of plants and a smoke machine. We have a hot tub on the porch so we had a romantic rainforest evening. I received a lot of great ideas here for my rainforest---thank you everyone! One he did---proposed to me again on our 4th anniversary asking me to renew our wedding vows on our 5th Anniversary. We did! We did our renewal on a day cruise with friends and family. We are going to do another renewal (this time in Las Vegas!) on our 15th anniversary (October 2008) I am looking for new ideas for this years occasions...so my question is what have you done or wish your husband would do that is extremely romantic. Yvonne
Well shoot, you've already blown all my romantic ideas out of the water. LOL! Last year to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary we returned to our Honeymoon spot. It was VERY romantic and FUN!
Bed & breakfast places are great! There is a place in the Black Hills that we love!
I second the Bed and Breakfast! We have had lots of fun. Like Trina said, sounds like you have the nack! LOL
He gave me a heart attack. He filled my room (at my mom's) with heart shaped ballons, covered the walls with heart cut-outs and gave me all kinds of heart-shaped candies and cookies! It was so romantic and fun. I wonder what happened to that romantic guy?!
Dh and I like to visit the place where he proposed to me. I have come home to a candlelight bubble bath with rose petals and soft music and a gondolier boat ride only to come home to even more rose petals, this time leading to the bed and all over the sheets. I really like the first idea you gave me, maybe i'll have to try that! I should ask DH advice for you, hes more romantic than I am
Send a hotel key to his office with a note. Be waiting in bed for him when he arrives! ;)
