Do any of you have any idea?
2 weeks ago I started waking up feeling sick to my stomach. This happened for 3 days in a row when I started worrying. My period wasn't late yet, but I am fairly irregular and my tubes are tied so I started freaking out, naturally. I went and got a test and it came up negative. I started my period on Sunday (Happy Mom's Day!) but it only lasted about 2 1/2 days and stopped for 3 days and I've been spotting today. I'm still sick to my stomach each morning, too. I miscarried a twin with my first pregnancy and I'm beginning to worry that it may be that again. I called my Gyn and was told that I couldn't get in for 2 weeks. Do any of you know what is going on or if I should make a bigger deal about this?
I don't have any idea about what could be going on but I would call your Gyn in the morning and ask them to please call you if they have any cancellations and I've always found out it helps to overexagerate your problem when you call. I hope you are feeling better!
It could be anything. But, if I were you, Id just show up and demand a bloodtest if nothing else. What if it is something serious? I understand that you have your tubes tied. I think its still possible to a ectopic or tubal pregnancy even with your tubes tied. In any case, you should be seen for a bloodtest right away and go from there. I hope its something very ease to get fixed.
Dear Tink, I suffered alot cos my gyn wasnt available. i suggest go to the nearest clinic and get a blood test done. it might be too early for a scan. best of luck!
Tink - Call when your doc does not have office hours and get the emergency service. They may just tell you to show up at the office the next morning, if you can't get an appt. by the above methods. Or, call and leave a message for or speak directly to the Doc. S/he knows that the one at risk for a lawsuit is not the receptionist, so I'm sure you'll be seen right away. But I agree 100%. This is not someting you should take lightly and certainly not something you should live with for two weeks! Feel better, and let us know what's going on. Ame
Tink, How are you feeling? Ame
I am wondering how you are doing as well. You described my pregnancies to the t in your post.
Tink, any news?
Went to Urgent Care today. Took a test and had an ultrasound. Everything's fine and it was just a weird period. Coincidentally, I didn't feel sick this morning. Sorry about worrying anyone. It just seemed really strange to me, I never realized I was a hypochondriac!
That certainly doesn't make you a hypochondriac! Glad you're feeling better.
It was strange. And you are not a hypochondriac. I'm glad there was nothing seriously wrong. Ame
I am glad everything is okay. I was thinking maybe it was a tubal pregnancy. My friend just lost a baby and the left tube Mothers Day weekend.
so glad that everything is ok ! i learned that worrying alot or stress can really mess up your period !
I would rather have it checked out then later wish you had gone. I'm glad it was nothing.
Thanks for all the nice thoughts. Victoria, stress is all I seem to do lately. I'm wondering if my antidepressant could have affected it. I just went back on it but that wasn't ever a problem before. Oh well, I'll just wait and see. Thanks again.
