One of my beautiful children got gum on my carpet...how do I get it up? I have tried putting ice on it but it isn't working.

Sprinkle Oxiclean on it and then add HOT water and rub. It should come off...I got silly putty up that way and its pretty much the same texture. Also at the 99 Cent store they sell a solution called AWSOME, and it is just that awsome. I've used this yesterday to get dried elmers glue off the carpet. It works on everything. I got food coloring on my white counter tops and it took it off as well. Good luck and please let us know.

We buy HUGE cans of 'OOPS!' remover. I use it all the time. Works good.

We have also used alot of Goo Gone (i think thats what it's called)
