I just found out that my best friend from childhood is moving back to town!! We grew up across the street from each other, but have mostly lived in different places since. We've kept in touch over the years, (she's the kind of friend that, no matter how long it's been since you talked last, you pick up right where you left off) but now she'll only live about 25 minutes away!!! Yay!! I was just so excited, I had to share.

Its always nice to have a relationship like that. I feel like that with my a woman my uncle was married to a while. It ws the family joke that when they divorced she got to keep us!

I have lived in the same town as a college friend for the last 11 years. It's wonderful! In the 24 years we have known each other, we spent 200 miles away from each other, but also had the kind of relationship that we could just pick up where we left off!

oh i am green with envy. My childhood friend lives so far away - i would love it if she could move back. I can totally understand your excitement (and hey kidding abt the envy bit )
