We're going to a baseball game! Minor league, anyway. Every year the minor league team here (Sky Sox) hosts a "Math Day" for local schools. I think it's officially for 4th graders, but it's up to the individual teachers and schools if they want the other grades to go also. Robin went last year and his teacher this year is taking them and he (Robin) asked if I could come. So I tweaked my schedule so I could go! I do need to take one daycare child with me (a 23 month old that when he's with me thinks he's mine anyway! I've had him since he was 7 months. ) and I talked to Randy's teacher and she's letting me keep him out of school that day so he can go, too! I just called and got the last two tickets in the section Robin's school will be in. *whew* The boys are thrilled. They love baseball--especially when they get to go to the game. Shoot, I'm excited, too. Baseball is one of the very few sports that I really do enjoy. Just wanted to share.

I love baseball too! I can't wait until my kids are old enough to enjoy a live game, and let us enjoy it! LOL My best friend and I used to go to SF for Giants games 4 or 5 times a year! So fun! We have a minor league team here but I don't think my kids would be interested for any length of time. Have a great time and have a hot dog for me!

Cori, you could try the minor league team with your older ones. Worst case, if you have to leave you didn't blow too much. Tickets for Randy and Me (*N* will sit on my lap) were $11 and I think parking is $4. Those were the good seats! They have general seating for $3 a seat, and it's not a huge stadium so you can still see everything. Dh and I went to a couple Baltimore games when we were first married (got free tickets from my boss once and from his once). It was fun, but with the minor league teams you see so much more and there's such a home town feeling (here anyway). I love it. We're going to try and hit quite a few games this year.
