Does Anyone Have Bikini Touch-painless hair remover and trimmer?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive April 2004: Does Anyone Have Bikini Touch-painless hair remover and trimmer?

I saw an ad for this in Cosmo and was wondering if it really works. I read some testimonials on their webpage, but wanted to know from "real" people if it works like it says it does. Thanks!

I don't know what brand mine is, I think it's a Micro Touch trimmer. I love it for upper lip and facial hair. It works well. I do not use it on my bikini line or eyebrows, which I have waxed, but I needed something else for my upper lip because the reaction from the wax lasted for over a week.
I bought it at Linens N Things for about $15.

I've seen the Micro Touch - my youngest dd and I both have upper lips waxed, and the concern I had was that it would grow back thicker or something. How has it worked for you?

No experience with the Bikini Touch Painless hair remover but we had the Micro Touch trimmer. I bought it for DH for his mustache. He said it was a waste of money and threw it away. I never tried it.

O.K. I pulled mine out. It's called Finishing Touch. My lip hair is very fine, so it works very well and has not grown back any thicker. I also use it to touch up between eyebrow waxes.
For my upper lip it has been a lifesaver! Gross - it's also great for nose hair. I don't think it does too well on course or thick hair.
