I can't believe someone will do this. I'm reading in today's Express (distributed in my area) that on Aug. 10, in Wilson, A Sheboygan Fall, Wis., man sneaked in a 2 year old toddler's bedroom while she was a sleep and stole 20 dollars from her piggy bank, the mother walked in and caught him in the act. but he escaped before police could arrive. OMG.

When my youngest was three months old, she had an ear infection and we'd been up all night. She and I took a nap mid-afternoon while my dh watched a football game in the den. I woke up to the sound of someone shaking the change out of the piggy bank we'd started for her and called out to my dh, thinking it was him. I was wrong and it was someone who'd snuck in the back door, walked into my sleeping infant's room and was trying to get money for drugs. My dh didn't hear him over the sound of the TV but he heard me call out to him. We let the man leave when he started waving a knife around. It was the scariest moment of my life!
