Rainbow play system?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive April 2004: Rainbow play system?
By Monicamomof3 on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 - 09:25 pm:

I went to Cosco the other day and say their HUGE play system. It is made by rainbow play system and is really nice. It has a big fort on top and under the fort is a place for a sand box a picnic table (which is shaded because of the overhead fort), and a walk up convenience store. In the fort it has a parascope and steering wheel. It also has a slide, rock climbing section wth a rope, 2-3 swing areas, monkey bars, etc. It is $1000.000. It has a 12 yr warranty, etc... does anyone have a swing set from Lowes, Home Depot, or Rainbow Playsystem. Or, from anywhere esle. Just wanted to know if that is a good deal. It is also made from all red wood and cedar. Where did you guys get your play system and how much was it. Of course if you don't mind me asking! :) We plan to purchase something this weekend. My dd's 5th b-day. Thanks for your help. If you want to see the play system so that you can compare their price to yours go to cosco ending with .com. Thank you so much! We just don't have a lot of money to waste if it we aren't getting enough for our money!

We haven't decided on a playset yet for our DS but we have been looking at Rainbow Play Systems. They are good playsets and apparantly the way they are built, they won't tip like some do.

I went to their website: www.rainbowplay.com and ordered their catalog and video. I have rec'd them but haven't had much of a chance to check them out.

It sounds like a good deal.

Not sure if this helps. If you decide to get it, let us know how you (your daughter) likes it.

I will let you know. I think my 2 year old wild boy will like it even more. Check out the one Costco sells, because it is made by rainboy play systems, but it is the wholsale price.

My best friend has that play set from Costco. She LOVES it! It was an all day project putting it up.

yeah! it says it should take 8-10 hours with 2 people. Did she have it delivered?

The price is excellent. I've seen them only as low as $1,500 or so, and not for great ones. Can you order them online? We only have a BJ's near us, not a Costco.

I checked out the website. Is the one you're talking about the same one they have on the website for $1,399? If so, then I'll hunt down a Costco, rather than pay an extra $400. Let me know, because we are in the market for one.
Thanks,
Ame

Hey! Thanks for your input. We dont have a BJ's here in texas. I still want to check it out though. I went to the website and couldn't find it. Any suggestions on how to view it. What do I need to click on? I've been researching as well and haven't found a deal even close to this. I think we are going to get it. I've compared several other brands that are very similar and they range anywhere from $800- $2,600 more! Let me know what you do! Good luck. Oh yeah- the website says $1399.00 but in the store it is $998.00.

Go to the bj's site and click on a small box in the top right that says seasonal products. You'll see a photo. Click on the photo.

Thanks Ame! I went to the site. What a great deal!! Too bad we don't have a BJ's here. By the time I got a membership and paid for shipping, it would be a better deal for me to just get the one here.
