My son is going to be hysterical

My son is going to be hysterical
with laughter. While in the RiteAid I saw a purple monkey in the Easter remainder cart - 75% off. It is a hanging monkey, about 18-24 inches from top of hands (while hanging) to the bottom of its large yellow feet, with a yellow fuzzy ruff. The fun is that if you push a button it starts kicking its legs and going hoohooohooohoo in monkey sounds. Or, if you are like me, you followed the instructions and set it on motion sensor. It is presently hanging on the front door right where he will have to set off the motion sensor when he closes the door and locks it. I can't wait for his reaction. (And, it was only $4 - a cheap price to pay for having a son hysterical with laughter.) The thing is, some of the animals he works with in the Animal Gene Therapy Center are monkeys. So he is rather fond of stuffed monkeys. This one should be a hoot. The only problem is, his dog loves stuffed toys that make noise, and she is eyeing it longingly. I will have to watch her carefully until Scott activates it, stops rolling the floor with laughter, and puts it away.
LOL! Your son will laugh and your dog will go crazy until it's put away. That wasn't much money to pay. You will have to keep us updated!
Yes, let us know how he reacts, LOL
Love it! Keep us posted. Can you videotape it?
LOL, sounds hysterical!
Bummer - he looked at it, said what the heck, tried to stop the legs from moving, and found the off switch. The dog was more excited by it than he was. It didn't help that he is red/blue color-blind, and what I saw as a lavender monkey with a yellow ruff he saw as a brown monkey with a yellow ruff. Oh well. He is going to take it into work, where he thinks it will be a big hoot. I got more giggles out of it than he did. Oh well ....
My dd bought the same kind of monkey for her friend's birthday a few months ago. It was a HUGE hit with the 8 year olds! But I paid $11.00
Oh well, at least you got some enjoyment out of it. I hope you told him what you thought of his sense of humor ... Ame
Well, I sort of sulked at him. He was sympathetic but still not overly impressed. As I said before, oh well .... You win some, you lose some
