American Girl Experience
Another mom and I are thinking about taking our daughters to the one in Chicago. Anyone done this? Any tips?
My coworker did this last year with her DD, who was 8 at the time. They loved it. Her DD is really into American Girl.
Hello, I live in Chicago, and I have taken my DD and my niece there several times. They absolutely love it. I have just recently returned back to college and my duaghter was feeling kind of neglected and I found that it is a great experience for all of US. (Including me). It is a great MOM/DAUGHTER oppotunity. I definetly recommend it to everyone. If you decide to go, hope you have a ton of fun. Sincerely, Imdamama6
My cousins collect the dolls, is that what you are talking about?
This is the American Girl doll store in Chicago. They have a restaurant, theater, all sorts of things to do.
I have been. The store is amazing. You have to make reservations far in advance for the restraunt and the show, so do that before you book tickets. We just happened to be in town and went by, we didnt' get to those, just shop. I heard the theater was good, but slow and long for little ones. Have fun!
Thanks. I think we are going to do one of the packages, and probably go next fall.
They have American Girl weekends at Colonial Williamsburg for girls and their Felicity dolls. They always sell out.
I bet that is really fun too, Bea.
