As I mentioned last week I was excited about going on vacation to Disney. We are staying at this place called "Oaks Plantation"(timeshare sort of thing). Imade the reservations back in January and got a rate of 39$ a night for a one bedroom villa,separate bedroom and queensize sleeper sofa in living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer. Well Ive checked their rates today and the same room is up to 82$ a night plus tax. WOW! SO I just called their reservation number to confirm my price, and the man said indeed I was confirmed at 39$ a night. Im so happy to have found a good deal. I guess it helped that I booked the room in mid January.

Good for you! My DH has procrastinated for weeks over making a reservation for us for ONE night in Tampa before our cruise in November. We wanted to stay at this one particular hotel because the room rate includes free parking the entire time we are gone. He's been checking the rate and discounts for months and kept thinking if he waited JUST a little longer he could find it cheaper. Well, he finally made the reservation yesterday and the price has gone UP, not down! GRRRRRRRR

So.....have fun, and as Bea said, more $$ for you to spend while you are there!!!!!!
