By Ladypeacek on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 07:43 am:

My dd decided to paint a tattoo on my arm with some makeup her granny gave her to play with. It was just some lip gloss and eye shadow that she didn't use anymore. She has done it before with her kids play makeup and it has never bothered me. Well...I didn't realize the lip gloss was LONG LASTING!!!! I can't get it off!!! I took 2 showers and even a hot bath, used lots of soap and makeup remover, and it hasn't budged!!! I tried peroxide and even a little nail polish remover, nothing! I scrubbed so hard it hurt! Anyone know how to get this off???????

did you try a baby wipe? I used to use it to wipe my lipstick off. It comes right off without scrubbing:)

By Ladypeacek on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 08:29 am:

lol no i didn't try that, but i will right now!!

By Ladypeacek on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 08:33 am:

ugghh nope the wipe didn't do it, man, i guess they meant it when they said long lasting, no false advertising there! This stuff is worse than paint! I can't believe it isn't coming off even a little!

:(, I'm sorry, did you try baby oil?

By Jessicac1979 on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 08:35 am:

that sounds like something that would happen to me. my daughter did my grandmas face with her play makeup and made her break out all over with a rash. i would have tried everything you have used so far so i am left with no ideas to help you, but good luck!

Rubbing alcohol, maybe?

Wow, where do you get long lasting lip gloss like that? :) My guess is something oil-based, like baby oil will get rid of it.

i guess i need to get some baby oil! This is driving me nuts! I think i am taking off all the skin around it but not the lipstick!

LOL.....I need lip gloss that lasts like that. I can't get any lip product to stay long enough. I'm always reapplying!
