B-day party invite wording
My dd is having a spa sleepover party for her 8th birthday. We are planning on having the girls make homemade facials, soaking their feet, giving them manicures, having them do each other's hair and ending the night with a movie and popcorn. I am looking for clever wording for the invitation so they know what to expect.
If you are making the card, make it in the shape of a foot and say...(Decorate the card by painting on colored toenails and a toe ring)! You are invited to (fill in the name)'s birthday party and you will get the royal spa treatment! List inside the events and tell them what to bring for their royal treatment! Can I come? This sounds like so much fun! Make the cake in a shape of a crown, lol;)
Either that or if you are making a card, make it in the shape of sleeping bags that you can open up and the wording be inside. Include pillow and all!
You could put the party details on a box of chocolates. Make a card look like a mirror or comb. Make a label with all the party info and attatch to a bag of bath salts. Use small sample size bottles of lotion and make your own labels with the party information on your computer, then you can just cut to fit and glue it to the exsisting label. You could use several emory boards each one giving a different detail, who, when, where, what to bring, etc. Tie a ribbon around them attatch a tag with the girls name. As far as wording, I would give my spa a name and then do something like: "you are invited to Spa Such and such located 123 main street to celebrate So and So's birthday, be prepared for an evening of pampering as you relax at one of the finest spa's in the area. Spa such and such is known for their exquisite, rip roaring, exciting, insert adj. of your choice birthday sleep overs. This all inclusive spa package will begin at 7pm and end with a breakfast of blueberry pancakes at 10am."
