Trying to get all the paper work....
done for DS Tom to attend college. Wow its like a full time job!! Between the grants, the loans, trying to decide which way to go...I have been sitting at this desk for 2 hours now just going over paper work. Its just so confusing!!! How the heck did all you parents with kids going to college get through all this!! I am frazzled. Everyone keeps telling me to go on the internet there is so many grants out there...My head is spinning. LOL Thanks for letting me vent
Well my kids aren't that old yet but i do remeber going through it all for myself!! I took the pell grant which was nice. I had to stand in alot of lines and write my info so many times i thought my hand would fall off! i want my kids to go to college but i am not looking forward to all that! When you get so tired just remind yourself how lucky you are that he wants to go!
LOL. I am with you on this one. My son goes to the University of Alabama and it's a new form about every week. Hang in there though- it's worth all the paper cuts.
So, that's what I have to look forward to?? LOL! It's not very far away for me. Freshman year for Sarah is almost over already!
LOL Pat, the paper cuts!!! Dawn you will be doing it before you know it. Kenna I am so happy that he is going to futher his education, and in the long run it all going to be worth it. Just seems so overwelming now.
My son is graduating in May, too. I'ts been one form after another and another and another. I wish everyone would just use universal info on the internet. Life would be sooooo much easier. Mary
All we've had to do with each of our kids was to annually fill out the FAFSA, and once they were enrolled, the college's financial aid office informed us of all the grants/loans they were eligible for. Whatever you do, DO NOT pay someone to seek grants/scholarships for you!
