Cats! Kids! Arrgh!
My kids have a bad habit of leaving half-full paper cups laying around. My cat has a bad habit of knocking over half-full paper cups. Soooo... Someone left a paper cup near the computer. The cat knocked it over. I didn't know what happened until I tried to type a password and nothing happened. I lifted the keyboard up and tilted it. It looked like the keyboard had sprung a leak! *sigh* It was beyond hope. So, now I am typing on a brand new keyboard. I informed the kids that I don't want to see any more cups laying around. I informed the cat that I don't want her knocking anymore cups over. Funny, but both the cat and the kids gave me the same sort of indifferent look. Hmmm... Anyway, we'll see who disobeys me first.
Oh no. Sorry that happened but I did get a laugh from this. In this house its the kids and the dog! My 2 year old will leave her snack in her bowl on the floor then throw a fit when the dog eats it!
You're comment on the look had me laughing. We all know how frustrating kids can be... LOL
LOL.....well at least you got a new keyboard out of the deal
One of my children spilled kool-aid on my keyboard and didn't tell anyone. All of a sudden, my keyboard wouldn't type right. DH took it apart and it was full of blue liquid. (I was duly corrected by the perpetrator of the damage!) So, I ended up with a new keyboard, too! LOL! I can just imagine the indifferent look you got from the kids and the cat!
I know where you are coming from, my DH is always leaving his cups (not the kids mind you) and the baby always gets a hold of them and dumps them on the floor, him (but only if he is wearing a clean outfit), the couch, his brothers (but only if they are wearing a clean outfit), etc.
LOL, i just posted that i got a dog and 2 cats, now you have me worried!! I guess we will have to start watching where we set things or make everyone drink out of sippy cups like the little one!! No more drinks at the computer! Sorry for your keyboard but thanks for the warning!
The SAME thing happens here with my kids and our cats. For some reason the cats would prefer to drink out my kids cups rather than their own water bowls. Many an important paper has been ruined because the kids have left the paper and a cup full of some type of liquid on the table.
Cool, Tammie, I'm not alone! LOL
BTDT, except it was root beer on my dining room table. Did you know it'll eat the finish right off??? So will apple juice (found this out the same way). Gotta love 'em. (both the cats and the kids! lol)
