Music help please please
I teach preschool and our graduation is in May, but due to the behavior problems we will begin practicing week after next. Anyway- my theme this year is- Oh the Places You Will Go- prom- college- that kind of thing. They dress accordingly. I need to come up with a "walking in song". I love something sweet and teary. I am just blank though. I love the song by 5 for fighting 100 years, but- I think it's too rock and roll. More background too- one of our families lost a baby boy a month ago- this doesn't have anything to do with the music, but it's a small town and we have all hurt for them. They have a website- http://caringbridge.org/al/clayton/ If you are still reading- and have a suggest thank ye in advance.
'I Am Your Child' by Barry Manilow.
I checked out that website. Its so sad that they lost that little angel so early in his life. He was precious! Sorry, i can't think of any songs at the moment.
Waht about "The children of the World" By Amy Grant
I think "Children of the World" by Amy Grant is a great one. It's on her "House of Love" CD.
We had a special children's service at church last month and I got to sing Amy Grant's song, "Children of the World". It's a great song. Here are the lyrics. AMY GRANT Children Of The World (Tommy Sims, Amy Grant, Wayne Kirkpatrick) Every life, every beating heart Has a searching soul inside Ever needing, ever seeking out The meaning to life I refuse to believe that we're only here to live and die In the futile days of a faithless haze Never asking why, why would I When I've felt the hand of eternity It's a legacy I will leave, I want to leave For the children of the world Every single little boy and girl Heaven plants a special seed And we must have faith for these I will stand for the truth I've seen So the truth is seen in me I will give from the source of love So all that I believe is handed down For the road that's yet to be travelled on By the ones who will carry on, I'll carry on Chorus: For the children of the world Every single little boy and girl Heaven plants a special seed And we must have faith for these Red and yellow, black and white They are precious in the Father's eyes Like the Father may we see That they have a destiny And give them the light of love to lead Through the darkness around us now To a place where hope is found (Repeat Chorus Three Times) For the children of the world
I like "Angels Among Us".
Thanks ya'll. (I decided on the Amy Grant!)
