Need something green "recipe"
I need a recipe to make something green for a party I am going to next week. Any creative ideas which would be easy for a party? Thanks!
This is a big hit at church gatherings--and it's super easy. Mix together 16oz Cool Whip, a 15oz can of crushed pineapple (with juice), and one box of pistatio pudding. That's it! Sounds kind of wierd, but people love it. I've made it a few times and never brought any leftover home. Have fun!
Oh, and it's best to make it in advance. It tastes better if it's had time to sit (at least a few hours).
We make the same thing that Cat mentioned Sometimes we add marshmallows for kids.
How do you serve it? Like a pudding?
Yes, like a pudding
Yum! We add a cup of marshmallows and fruit cocktail to it, too! We love pistachio fruit salad!
I've made rice krispie treats and turned them green with green f d coloring. Real easy!!
CHOCOLATE MINT PIE 1 chocolate cookie pie crust 1 lg pkg. cook and serve chocolate pudding mix 1 envelope Dream Whip 5 drops green food coloring Prepare pudding according to package directions. Pour into chocolate cookie pie crust, and chill for 2 hours. Prepare Dream Whip to package directions except substitute peppermint extract for vanilla extract. Add green food coloring while beating.
