Teddy/Lazarus the Hamster is gone

He just stopped eating and faded away. We found him dead this morning. I don't think my dd was too surprised, and she was sad, but I think she'd already said her goodbyes. Amazing that he lasted the two weeks he did, and she's doing fine. We buried him in the yard, and she put a wooden cross on top with his full name and today's date on it. We're sad, but I think we're relieved. Anyway, thanks for all the good wishes along this weird roller-coaster of emotions!

Awwww. I'm sorry to hear about Teddy! {{{HUGS}}} I can still remember how I felt when my first hamster died! It's not an easy thing. You have a very brave little girl.
