I've been feeling kind of "blah" lately. I have Crohn's Disease, and its been acting up lately. I've been having a lot of stomach aches. I have also just bored with the routine of my life in general. I didn't say anything about it to my dh. Today I was pretty cranky in the morning just feeling down. I guess i've been having "one of those days".

My dh came home for lunch today and suprised me with a day at the spa! I get a 30 minute Swedish Massage, Aroma Shampoo and Condition, Blowdry and Style, Manicure and Aveda Makeup application! I just hugged him and cried. I can schedule this whenever i want to. I guess the whole thing lasts 3 hours, or i can break it up into a couple of days. I really needed a 'pick me up' and he noticed and did this for me!

I just wanted to share what a sweetheart husband i have with you.

I can sympathize with your flare-ups, to some extent, because my 13 yr old dd was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 3 years ago. It's been quite an adjustment for us all, but we've all weathered it - I have the bravest child in the world .
