Just thanking God today. My dh was in a bad car accident Saturday night that he WALKED AWAY FROM with just a badly bruised shoulder and elbow. Four teenagers, who were stoned out of their minds, charged through a red light and crashed into the driver's side. Both cars were totalled. The four teenagers fled on foot. One girl was caught by a brave bystander, and one kid collapsed nearby. He's in the hospital. The other two, one of which was the driver, hopped on a bus and got away. So, today I'm without a car, but who cares. I still have my WONDERFUL husband!!!

Whew! Glad to hear your DH is OK! I can relate. My DH was in a bad accident a few years ago that totalled his car. An elderly gentleman cut in front of him making a left turn. DH walked away that day but experienced post trauma (neck, back) that required physical therapy. Keep a close eye on your DH over the next month or so and watch for symptoms - dizzyness, pain, etc..

Glad he is ok. It takes a long time to shake the feeling of being in a serious accident. I was in one in September (I was fine, other driver went to the hospital), and I just kept reliving it over and over in my mind. I get upset just typing this. Hope the kid in the hospital is ok too and that they catch all of the kids.

That sounds almost unbelievable. So glad he is safe. He certainly was being watched over. Amazing the kids survided to.
