Just curious what book(s) did you read before baby? I read, "What To Expect When You're Expecting".

Did you read any after baby?

I bought/read that one too. I also referred to it a couple of times just after baby was born. Other than that, the only other books I read were breastfeeding books.
I was more in to reading the books when I had my first. It was all so interested and new to me. By the time I was pregnant with my 3rd, I didn't read much of anything to do with pregnancy.

What to expect the first year was very helpful too.

I agree, the what to expect series is great. That what to expect the first year was used to death by me!!! Got my money out of that one for sure!!

The two books that I love are...What To Expect When You Are Expecting and the other MUST READ...The Girlfriends Guide To Pregnancy.

What to Expect and Your Pregnancy Week by Week were my favorites. The What to Expect the First Year book was my bible after ds #1 was born. LOL.

My faves for after baby were 'The First Three Years of Life' by Burton L. White and 'The Portable Pediatrician's Guide For Parents' by Laura Walther Nathanson, MD.

I read What to Expect When You Are Expecting, A week by week pregnancy book and my favorite, "Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy. I loved that book, it included stuff that no other book touched on and some stuff the Dr. didn't even tell me. I never thought about the amount of blood that might be coming out of my body after the baby was born, or the fact that my "bottom" might be sore, thank god that book gave me a little heads up in that department!

The What to Expect the First Year was "THE BOOK" in our house after my first was born. We'd be wondering about somethng she was doing and all we had to say was , "Get the book" and we would know what the other was talking about. We also called it the bible, Melaine! LOL
