I remember reading some where also that you can make inexpensive capes
out of black garbage bags.
What fun ! Yvonne has some great ideas.

Thanks for the ideas. I am planning on making capes out of black felt but I have never sewed so I hope they turn out..LOL :)

My son had a Batman Beyond Party for his 4th. It went great. I also made the felt capes, they loved them and believe me I can't sew at all.

If you are still looking for games this is what we did:
I made a Joker Pinata, Pinata's are always great fun and I am proud of this one, I can't believe I made it and it actually turned out good.

I did a super hero training course:
Step 1: The bat Cave Crawl-I duct taped some boxes together to form a tunnel with streamers hanging down the inside. They had to crawl through.
Step 2: Batroll- They had to do a forward roll, I think everyone could do one and if they couldn't they thought they did it.
Step 3: Bomb Crawl- I hung balloons from the ceiling on long string (maybe a foot or two from the floor) they had to go under them without touching them.
Step 4: Balancing- I taped a line on the floor and they had to balance across it.
Step 5: I taped two lines on the floor and they had to jump over them and not land in the middle.

They really liked this, I had to walk them through it but they did it 3 or 4 times a piece. They really liked the adults chearing for them.

The next game was their all time favorite. I tried to get my husband to do it but he wouldn't so I recruited my 13 year old niece. The bad guy wrap up. I had my niece sit in a chair and gave each child a roll of toilet paper they had to wrap it around her so she couldn't get up. They loved this, they did it until they ran out of Toilet Paper. My niece had fun too.
