My dh and I watched the movie Brian's Song over the weekend. Brian Piccolo's wife was portrayed my Shelly Fabares. She also played the wife on tv's sitcom Coach, a few years back.
Is she still alive? I thought she passed away a few years ago, from a rare ailment but dh did a quick search and said she was still alive.
I hate to debate over a person's demise but I want to know!

She is living. Her mother has battled Alzheimers for many years, maybe that's what you are thinking. She has been very vocal about that. btw, she is married to Mike Farrel from MASH.

As many of you have already learned Ms. Fabares recently had liver transplant surgery due to the deterioration of her liver caused by an autoimmune disorder. I'm sure all of us are hoping for her to have a quick recovery. 8/01
