Silly, wonderful children....

Our middle dd wants to know when the Valentine's Day party is going to begin today. I had to laugh and she said we had one at school, why not at home, so we are having a pizza/ice cream Valentine's Day lunch party;)

And oldest dd, Rachel gave dh and I our Valentine's/Anniversary (2/22) gift early (yesterday) along with her handmade card suited for both. I told her love is enough for us for the two special days, but with the chore money she earned she bought us beautiful ocean candles, and a beautiful votive tulip candle holder from Target. She has quite the good taste, I had to wait an aisle over while she shopped yesterday and she had her own shopping card and went to a different line to pay for them. She really surprised us!

God has blessed us with 3 beautiful daughters.

It sounds as if you are having a nice Valentine's Day, Marg. Aren't children wonderful? That was so sweet and thoughtful of your daughter to do that for you.

I think it's great. WE spoke with our DS and his family today. Our DIL and GD are going ice skating today, while our DS stays home and cooks his two favorite girls a chicken dinner. He's making Chocolate Mousse in Chocolate Cups for dessert. He bought Shan roses, and I'm sure Nichole has the house decorated with hearts.

Store that memory up and save it. It will bring tears to your eyes in 10-20 years. (And it won't hurt to remember it when she is in her teens and you are ready to tear your hair out.)
