I just had the best time shopping
At Kohls ha ha ha i bet you thought i was going to say Meijer well i did there too. Here is what i got at Kohl's for about $50.00 all for the boys 8 pairs of pants total and 2 pairs of gloves. And then i went to Meijer and for $52 i got 4 pairs of shoes (1 for me)and the rest boy's and then i got 8 pairs of workout pants (i got some in a med.) for when i lose my weight. And 1 workout Jacket. It said i saved in there $153.75 or something like that i was like yeah baby lol.The pants i got a Kohl's for the boys were like the wind pants and then i got some that were jog pants and some that are supposed to be snowsuit pants but i'm sending them to school with them on lol...
I am dying to hit kohls but my youngest dd has pneumonia and I just got called to go get ds from school because he's vomiting so I am not going shopping anytime soon.
Colette sounds like you have my usual luck.I'm sorry to hear about your dd and ds take good care of them ...
just heard on the radio that kohls is having a 2 day sale on Friday and Saaturday, so maybe I can go then.
That will be great have fun if you get to go = )
whoo hoo! My mil offered to babysit sick kids for a couple of hours, so despite the remnants of an ice storm all over the place, I am going shopping! Yeah! (can you tell I need to get out of the house?)
I hit Kohls while in Pittsburgh last week. We don't have them here. I too brought home a ton of stuff for next to nothing. At 80% off Clearance...how can you go wrong?
Awesome Colette and Bea yes it was very exciting to bring home much needed pants for the boys for pretty cheap and some stuff for me too = )
Well, I didnt make out as well as expected. But I bought myself an outfit and 2 shirts and a pair for jeans for dd so I am happy. and now I am in a much happier frame of mind.
my DH won't give me money to go shopping I should talk him into an allowance.
One thing my Mother told me before I married, and it has turned out to be great advice...."Have your own money!!!! If you aren't working, get an allowance...even if it's $5.00 a week. That's yours, and you don't have to answer to anyone how you spend it." Long ago, women raised chickens, and sold a few eggs for their EGG MONEY. Women today don't have that option. Tell him you want an allowance.
When we started budgeting, we included personal cash. Dh and I get the same amount per month, that way he doesn't complain about what I spend money on and I don't complain about what he spends his money on.
Good idea Colette. The only reason i really had that much to shop with was because it was tax money any other way i wouldn't of had it.
but this shopping spree came from the "clothing budget" because it wouldn't be very fair if my personal cash was going to buy the kid's clothes and dh's was going for lift tickets.
